"That One Case"

I have told many of you that I wrote a book on the Kidnapping case involving the young Amish girls. Writing the book and thinking of how I was going to tell you the reader about it had me going back and forth, rereading and rewriting the book. It took me about two years and then some to actually get to the point where I think it is time to release it. If ever there was a book that I didn't want you to enjoy it is this one. The story needs to be told, we can't let parents forget how easy it is for someone to take your child. For people to know that evil people can look like everyday people. That abusers come in all shapes, sizes, genders. I was torn by emotions in this case, I went from highs and lows that I never want to experience again. Voices of the parents as we talked with the girls when they came home, the dark room could not hide the pain and anguish this family was going through.
